ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I've been working as a product designer for the past 10 years, creating useful products for real people - now with a special interest in the human-AI relationship. My story with design dates back to a time when flash websites with music were cool (and they were!). Collaborative mindset, I always go macro before ever going micro, I always consider the broader impacts of my decisions beyond just the product or feature on scope.
Questions? This might help
-
Yes. I operate as a generalist and regularly lead design across the full product lifecycle. I move from zero-to-one strategy to detailed interaction design, depending on the maturity of the problem space. For example, on Copilot and Walkie Talkie, I’ve defined product direction through user research, aligned cross-functional stakeholders, prototyped solutions in Figma, and worked closely with engineering to ship high-quality UI. I’m comfortable shifting altitudes, whether reframing a vague brief or refining edge cases in delivery.

For our Copilot push to 100M MAU, the goal was loosely defined: 'drive free user adoption.' I led structured explorations across Windows and Teams, mapping personas, pain points, and surface opportunities. I reframed the ask into high-reach experiments like lock screen nudges and persona-specific prompts, aligning partners across orgs.

In a MAC controls project, the PM pushed to surface all features on L1. I disagreed based on usability and scalability. I ran a pattern audit, aligned with the MAC design lead, and validated L2 categorization via research. This helped us land on a scalable, plug-and-play panel UX that balanced admin needs with clarity.

I flex fidelity based on risk and visibility. For Copilot entry point experiments, I used fast, low-fidelity Figma mocks to align partners, then polished selectively for leadership reviews. This let us move quickly while still getting buy-in from senior stakeholders.

I lead by raising the bar across teams. Running async critiques, mentoring junior ICs, and driving pattern alignment across internal tools. On MAC, I initiated critiques with external teams and brought consistency across admin surfaces. My goal is always to increase velocity and coherence.
